In the last couple of weeks we’ve been supporting projects to help victims of the Ukraine invasion. Last week we teamed up with La Rissa and Civil Service to put on a benefit gig at Boom, Leeds, and the build-up saw Rio and Larissa make some appearances on local and regional outlets. All of this meant we were invited to join The Ukrainians for a refugee benefit that took place in York yesterday. Unfortunately Ding and La Rissa’s drummer succumbed to ‘rona in the intervening week, which meant we were helped out by our old mate Karl (while Larissa performed solo!) We’re all in good spirits, though, and it was great to be able to make a small contribution to our local Ukrainian community and victims further afield.
